ONCE UPON A TIME

Kerry & Sarah took a road trip to go and get some paint.

After much to-ing and fro-ing trying to find the company and then discovering they weren’t open for public visiting anyway, suddenly; The Idea!

How about a range of products for the high end of the market? How about its own little company? But what would we sell? Well, let’s start with the rainbow chaise. I have a selection of items that are too expensive for our other budget brand. Let’s start with those. Ok, but what else? How about a collection of pieces?

Ooh this is rather exciting! We should take pointless road trips more often! What about a back story? Ooh how about some fictional aristocracy? And let’s make it as bonkers as we are! Let’s add all the colours we love! Ooh, does this mean we could research some cool fabrics? Do you think there are people out there like us? Who love a traditional wooden piece of furniture but then twisted up to create something completely one off? Our tribe must be out there somewhere! Let’s do it! Let’s see if we can find them! Let’s find the people with style like ours and let’s give them furniture they could never have dreamt of.

Errrr… And that’s pretty much how we came to be. Kerfuffle & Swish was born, with an emphasis on bringing an end to our throwaway culture, bringing new life to old pieces and being able to make a living doing what we really love in a style that is authentically us. We hope you grow to love our pieces as much as we do. The love and passion that went into creating them is passed on from our homes to yours.
