Once Jim, the rainbow chaise longue was around, the family couldn’t get enough of this stunning velvet and wanted as many rainbows around the house as possible. They had two beautiful wooden footstools but the fabric on them was torn and faded. It gave them a new boost of life and spilled sunshine into two more rooms. The children would often argue over who got to sit on them while watching a family film. Three children and only two footstools meant a great deal of kerfuffle. However, when Grandma offered her lap and cuddles as an alternative to the lack of stool, there was soon a swift rotation around having a go with all three.

This awesome footstool has been reupholstered a beautiful soft rainbow velvet, made from mahogany, c. 1800.
For humans, scars show a life lived, wisdom, a wealth of experiences and an unwavering will to survive and overcome. For us this is our furniture too. It's not perfect there's no doubt about that. But it's bold, it's strong and it's here.
We have taken beautiful colours, fabrics and woods and combined them to create a limited range of high end, slightly bonkers interior furnishings.
