When it comes to the rainbow barometer, it used to be, well, it used to be a plain, brown, wooden barometer. Not very exciting but it did what it said on the tin. It has hung in Lord Kerfuffle’s study for as long as anyone can remember but one day it was rainbow. Rumour has it that Lady Swish painted it as she was fed up of his grousing on dull days. If he could always see a rainbow from his seat, then really, there was nothing to grouse about, was there?
