Binoculars

The binoculars that sit in Lord Kerfuffle’s study remind him of happy times spent with his grandfather. When he was a boy, his grandpappy would sit with him in the garden and run through the letters of the alphabet using each letter for something they could see through the binoculars. Rumour has it that the old man was virtually blind so would invent things he could see, describe them for the little Lord and then pass over the lenses so that Kerfuffle could carry on the description using his own imagination. Many days were passed in the garden coming up with plants and animals that were only visible to those with an inspired mind.
