Twas said that long ago, Lord and Lady sailed the world and were captured by pirates. While caught onboard, Lady Swish was allowed a certain amount of liberty to move around and explore. ‘Twud appear that pirates actually preferred to drink gin in private and only drank rum in public as, and I quote, ‘That’s what them there landlubbers expect!’
As a trade off for keeping their secret, Kerfuffle and Swish were allowed to leave the ship and would forever carry the bottle with them as their ‘get out of jail free’ card.
After this incident, all prisoners aboard pirate ships were kept chained up.
